CHALLENGE
Steering innovation in electrification and automation
Our challenge was to design steering solutions that enhance the performance of both hybrid and fully electric commercial vehicles, while also reducing driver fatigue. As commercial vehicles become more automated and connected, the need for precise motion control is critical. ZF required advanced systems that could seamlessly integrate into both conventional and electrified vehicle architectures, supporting automation, ADAS, and sustainability initiatives.
Result
Smart steering systems for a sustainable future
We helped ZF develop its ReAX steering system, which adapts to vehicle signals for smoother, more precise steering. This innovation enhances vehicle stability and reduces driver fatigue. Additionally, we supported the development of ZF’s Electric Power Steering systems, which offer fuel savings and support automation in electric and hybrid vehicles. Our partnership with ZF positions them at the forefront of e-mobility, automation, and connected commercial vehicles, shaping the future of sustainable transport.
