Driving the change – shifting to electric

Today the transport sector is responsible for almost a quarter of total energy related CO2 emissions. During 2020, Scania set science - based targets to reduce carbon emissions. In September of that same year, Scania launched their first commercially availab le fully electric truck. Two years later, in 2022, Scania launched the regional BEV, which was complete battery driven solutions for regional haulage – a milestone that Valoriim consultants was a part of realizing.

When Scania embarked on this initiative to develop electrified vehicles, Valoriim was involvedfrom the very beginning, tackling many of the challenges alongside Scania-entering a newtechnological area-and helping Scania make progress in it. We have played a major role in thedevelopment of Scania's charging solutions, which will be an important step to drive the changeand shifting to electrics.
